The technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used electric vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards for resale. This includes assessing battery health, high-voltage systems, and collaborating with sales teams to evaluate vehicle conditions.
Candidates need at least 2 years of automotive experience or 1 year of specific EV/hybrid repair experience and a strong understanding of high-voltage safety. A valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions are required.

Recharged is committed to making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable to consumers, while also serving dealers, fleets, and other companies navigating the transition to electric vehicles. You'll also be a founding member of our Jacksonville location!
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used EVs to ensure they meet our quality standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for resale.
This position is ideal for a technician with strong EV knowledge, high-voltage system training, or hybrid/EV diagnostic experience. Being a State Inspector is considered a plus.
Communication: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Other language- a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, such as walking, standing, and lifting.
Driving Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's motor vehicle insurance carrier. Willingness to submit a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for review is required.
