About Ping Identity:
At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.
Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.
While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.
We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.
With a passion for Ping products and services, the Technical Enablement Associate will support the development and delivery of technical enablement for Ping’s Sales Engineering organization, Partner Pre-sales, and other sales-aligned Go-to-Market teams. This role combines hands-on work with demo and proof-of-concept environments, technical content, product workflows, and learning experiences with project coordination and operational support for our Technical Enablement program. The successful candidate will help configure and troubleshoot technical environments, create clear and reusable enablement materials, support live and virtual events, and continuously improve the learner experience. They will work closely with Technical Enablement Architects, the Technical Enablement Program Manager, Sales Engineering, Revenue Enablement, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a technically curious, highly organized, enthusiastic individual to build depth in identity and access management while developing practical program-management skills.
You will:
Learn Ping products and foundational identity and access management concepts, and apply that knowledge to technical enablement activities.
Configure, test, refresh, and troubleshoot demo, lab, and proof-of-concept environments; document setup steps, known issues, and repeatable processes.
Create, update, and repurpose technical enablement materials, including quick-start guides, lab instructions, technical walkthroughs, presentations, and recorded content.
Execute defined test cases, validate product workflows, document defects or gaps, and communicate findings clearly to technical stakeholders.
Support onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and other live or virtual enablement events through demos, hands-on exercises, logistics, materials, and follow-up.
Support the Technical Enablement Program Manager with task tracking, schedules, meeting preparation, content publishing, program documentation, reporting, feedback collection, and other operational activities.
Work hours generally align with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; flexibility outside these hours may be required due to Ping’s global business, and minimal travel for events may be required, up to 10%.
You have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience in customer-facing or communication-focused roles.
Basic programming or scripting experience in a language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Bash, or PowerShell, with the ability to write or modify simple scripts.
Foundational knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity, AI, cloud concepts, web applications, APIs, or identity and access management.
Practical AI fluency, including experience using AI tools to improve productivity, research and synthesize technical information, and create or refine technical enablement materials, along with a conversational understanding of common AI terminology and concepts.
The ability to follow technical procedures, troubleshoot using logs and documentation, identify and communicate issues, and escalate blockers appropriately.
Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and ownership, with the energy, initiative, commitment, and passion to learn; ability to build peer support and strong internal relationships; and an understanding of adult learning principles and program effectiveness measurement.
You have an advantage if:
You have exposure to SSO, MFA, orchestration, identity governance, authorization, identity verification, identity risk, or related IAM concepts.
You have built or supported demos, labs, sandboxes, proof-of-concept environments, technical workshops, or hands-on exercises.
You have experience in technical enablement, sales engineering, software development, IT, cybersecurity, technical support, lab operations, or a related area.
You have experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, browser developer tools, command-line tools, basic SQL, or Git.
You have created technical documentation, diagrams, presentations, videos, or learning materials for technical audiences.
You are familiar with learning platforms, content repositories, project-management tools, reporting dashboards, collaboration tools, Agile, or Scrum.
Salary Range: $70,410–$88,013
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
