The GIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of geospatial data systems for water and wastewater utilities. Key duties include creating maps, performing quality control, and integrating CAD data to support engineering and operations teams.
Candidates should have 3-7 years of GIS experience and a preferred bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field. Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS tools, SQL, and the ability to read engineering design drawings are required.

The Carolina Water Services of NC team is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the essential water and wastewater services our communities rely on through accurate and reliable geospatial data. The GIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and usability of the company’s mapping and spatial data systems. This role applies foundational GIS principles to data management, quality control, map production, and user support - helping ensure reliable spatial information is available across operations, engineering, and planning teams.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is located in Charlotte, NC. Scheduel Monday - Friday. Travel within service areas.
