The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity of building automation systems, databases, and networked equipment. They will perform system troubleshooting, monitor energy performance, and support the Engineering & Energy Manager in facility operations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least three years of related experience in an HVAC service environment. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, along with knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, is required.
The Bloomberg School of Public Health Facilities Management Department is seeking a HVAC Technician. The HVAC Technician is primarily responsible for the integrity of the building automation system programs, database, and networked equipment. This includes maintaining digital O&M manuals, equipment records, history, inventory of critical parts and original equipment manufacturer technical data to support maintenance and repairs. The HVAC Technician will also engage in extensive training with controls vendors and support the Environmental Systems Specialist, to maintain the details of the HVAC systems and controls in our buildings. This position reports to the Engineering & Energy Manager.
