The Senior Quality Inspector ensures medical device products meet quality and regulatory requirements through mechanical inspection and CMM operation. They are also responsible for managing the calibration program and providing technical guidance and mentorship to other quality and production staff.
Requires a high school diploma and a quality certification (e.g., ASQ-CQIA, Green Belt) with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and mechanical inspection. Proficiency in CMM, GD&T, and knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations is essential.
The Senior Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that company medical device products meet all applicable quality, regulatory, and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This role will focus on using their knowledge and experience to perform and improve calibration, inspection, sampling, gage R & R, and other QC functions. As a Senior Quality Inspector, this position will also provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to Quality Inspectors and production personnel.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to ensure that all Company products are materially free of defects, that quality system procedures are followed, and that products are manufactured in a way that complies with the Company quality system and industry regulations.
