Develop and sustain automated test software for complex satellite ground systems using HITL and SITL testing. Responsibilities include writing C and Python code to drive hardware, managing Linux-based virtual machines, and supporting launch-rehearsal events.
Requires a STEM degree and 2-5+ years of experience depending on the level, along with an active Top Secret security clearance. Candidates must be proficient in C, Python, Bash, and have hands-on experience with RF test equipment and Linux environments.
Our Space Division builds the ground‑software that enables satellite constellations, launch‑day operations, and the processing of space‑borne data. The software you design and sustain directly supports mission‑critical capabilities that protect the nation and advance exploration.
The Software Test Engineer will develop, integrate, deploy, and sustain automated test software supporting a complex satellite ground system. The role focuses on hardware- in the- loop (HITL) and software-in the loop (SITL) testing, enabling continuous verification of mission- critical software through automated test frame works, system integration and operational validation across the software development lifecycle
This work will primarily be performed in a SCIF environment. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.
