Requires over 5 years of field experience as a Lineman or in utility operations, specifically within a Distribution System Operating Group. Must have a strong understanding of switching procedures, safety tagging, and familiarity with Oracle NMS.
About the role: Our client is looking for an experienced Analyst III to support grid operations by developing and coordinating electrical distribution system switching plans across the NSP service territory. You will ensure safe and effective execution of grid work through the creation of switching requests, coordination with the Control Center, and adherence to established safety procedures and clearance requirements.
You will bring a strong distribution utility background, field operations experience, and a thorough understanding of switching procedures, safety tagging, clearances, and grid operations. This is a 1-year contract role and will be onsite.
