The Construction Inspector is responsible for performing field measurements, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring site work complies with plans and standards. They also manage contract payments and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
Candidates must be high school graduates with at least 3 years of experience, preferably with PennDOT or local Allegheny County authorities. Preferred qualifications include NICET certification and specific field technician certifications for concrete and bituminous materials.
