Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of HVAC experience, along with universal EPA CFC and 10-hour OSHA certifications. Candidates must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
The (HVAC) Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems according to design specifications and customer requirements. This role demands meticulous system troubleshooting capability, strict adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
You should be able to repair generators, respond to emergency calls, and commission new systems. This position is part of the union and will follow the policies, benefits and perks set forth under the local's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The hourly rate is dependent on the level of expertise and includes pension, health insurance and annuity. The Company provides the necessary tools, equipment, vehicle with gas card, clothing, laptop, and cell phone.
The expected pay range for this position is $20.71-$29.58 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
