This role focuses on strengthening project leadership skills, cross-functional awareness, contributing and the ability to contribute to engineering in moderately complex environments.
The role focuses on developing project management fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and change management. It emphasizes collaboration and relationship-building within project teams, while helping align project outcomes with stakeholder expectations under the guidance execution leadership.
Operating with guidance and supervision, the Project Practitioner develops and leverages project management skills to: o Support project teams through various project execution phases, seeking support and guidance when needed. o Contribute to ensuring project execution aligns with organizational strategy and business goals. o Contribute to the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. o Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams. o Complete engineering design in either mechanical or controls engineering scope. o Write and execute acceptance testing plans.

What You Will Do In This Role:
Manage small, straightforward projects through the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closeout—ensuring timely task completion, accurate documentation, and clear stakeholder communication.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, ensuring seamless coordination of tasks, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing project management best practices.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and standards, contributing to process improvement and consistency.
Develop and maintain a collaborative project schedule that aligns with our contractual obligations.

Oversee project tasks and deliverables to ensure timely completion, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
Monitor project progress against the plan, proactively identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate project activities across different teams and departments, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Lead project team meetings, documenting meeting minutes (including key decisions and follow-up items), and track action items to closure, ensuring accountability and timely completion.
Prepare and distribute project status reports to stakeholders.
Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to the project team and management promptly and effectively.
Maintain project documentation (e.g., plans, schedules, reports, meeting minutes) and ensure it is readily accessible to stakeholders.
Track contract deliverables and milestones to ensure vendor compliance.
Assist with processing invoices and tracking payments related to contracts.
Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
Support the Project Manager in reviewing vendor proposals and contracts for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in tracking project expenses against the approved budget.
Help prepare budget reports and variance analysis, identifying potential cost overruns.
Gather data for forecasting project costs and resource needs.
Support the Project Manager in implementing cost-saving measures.
Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial transactions.
Assist in the management of project risks and issues, escalating to Management as necessary.
Create and maintain risk management plans, including risk identification, assessment, response planning, and monitoring.
Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely and effective manner, minimizing impact on project deliverables.
