What You Will Do:
Leads development and qualification efforts of aircraft evacuation slides.
Manages moderate to large sized projects including but not limited to system development and qualification, hardware design, testing, and processing as part of a cross-functional team.
Conducts root cause analysis and drive robust corrective actions for evacuation slide manufacturing and fielded product.
Conceptualizes and prepares preliminary and final detail design and documentation of evacuation systems components and assemblies.
Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work.
Mentors early career engineers and provide instruction and support to team members
Provides engineering material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming products.
Coordinates the building and testing of prototypes.
Performs financial analysis of a project's design components.
Works with Systems Engineer to plan and execute requirements validation and verification and assess impact to qualification basis when design changes are made.
Prepares presentations and presents program status, milestones, risks, mitigation plans, etc. at regularly scheduled program reviews.
Leads customer meetings for multiple customers.
Ensures successful completion of an assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
Executes projects in accordance with the RTX Lifecycle Program Management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience working with Microsoft O365 software suite.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Familiarity working in the design, development, and regulatory approval of aircraft systems.
Exceptional problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategize longer term projects.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
