The ESE teacher designs and implements standards-based, differentiated lesson plans to support girls in grades 6-12 within a trauma-informed environment. They are responsible for monitoring student progress, managing IEPs, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure academic and social success.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and an active Florida Department of Education teaching certificate. Experience in a trauma-informed youth environment and knowledge of subject-specific interventions for students with disabilities are preferred.

The Exceptional Student Education teacher is responsible for ensuring that girls master state standards and achieve academic success across content in grades 6-12.
Hours: Part-Time | Approximately 2-3 Days per Week 8:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $30–$35/hour, based on qualifications and experience

Pace Center for Girls provides year-round safe and supportive academic and counseling programs to help girls understand their past and prepare for their future. Pace’s team of counselors and educators provide middle and high school academic services, counseling, life-skills training, career preparation and more, developing individualized approaches based on each girl’s unique strengths, life experiences and needs at no cost. Girls face challenges in public schools, the juvenile justice system and in accessing mental health care.
