Responsibilities
The IT Hardware Supply Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics, procurement, and distribution of IT hardware across the university. This role involves maintaining accurate stock control, managing supplier relationships, and providing technical support to ensure efficient device deployment.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Edinburgh five days per week to manage inventory and hardware distribution. Applicants must also possess the legal right to work in the UK, as the university will not provide sponsorship for this position.

The Opportunity:
As the IT Hardware Supply Officer, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, proactive, and organised logistical and technical support in the service of the University of Edinburgh’s IT hardware distribution. Includes ordering, stock control, supplier management, financial administration, commissioning and distribution of IT devices in an effective, customer focused and efficient timely manner.
As this is an inventory control role, there is a requirement to work on-site 5 days per week in Edinburgh.
