The teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous science curricula and implementing state learning standards to ensure students master academic and social skills. Key duties include tracking student data, managing classroom behavior, and communicating progress to families weekly.
A Bachelor's degree is required, and state teaching certification or experience in a K-12 classroom is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate high content-area proficiency and the ability to pass a grade-level content assessment.

IDEA College Prep Teachers set ambitious goals for student achievement and diligently track student data to inform dynamic and effective daily lesson plans. IDEA College Prep Teachers seek feedback and continue to develop their teaching practice to better serve IDEA students. We strive to accomplish goal in two ways: by giving students the chance to experience rigorous and challenging material in high school and by giving them the opportunity to gain college-credit through dual-enrollment, AP, or IB courses.
