Requirements
The ideal candidate has a competitive, coachable mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills. While 0-2 years of sales experience is preferred, the role prioritizes raw hunger, aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, seed-stage environment.
Full job description
About GrowthFactor
GrowthFactor is the AI analyst for commercial real estate. It makes expansion analysis as easy as asking a question, then grounds every answer in a model tailored to your brand, so you can open the right locations, faster. Ask where to grow in plain English and see the answer on a live map.
About the Role
This is a launchpad role on an early team that’s scaling fast. We're hiring someone with a competitive mindset who wants to out-work and out-learn the room, and grow into a closing (Account Executive) seat as we build the team into 2027.
What you'll do
Generate qualified pipeline by prospecting into strategic accounts across
Build targeted account plans with the AEs (priority brands, buying committee, pain points, and outreach angles).
Research the right people with the right pain and decision points.
Write an outbound email copy with personalized, account-specific messaging that ties GrowthFactor to each brand's expansion priorities
Run multi-channel outbound sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
Qualify with structure. Run a real qualification on business need, technical fit, and urgency, and set clean, well-briefed handoffs to the AEs.
Keep HubSpot organized with a clear pipeline.
Get 1% better every week.
Must-haves
A competitive, coachable, highly competitive mindset
Ability to communicate effectively through a thoughtful cold email and hold confident conversations with a VP of Real Estate or a CFO.
Emotional intelligence to build rapport fast and adapt across operator, technical, and executive audiences.
Proactive, self-starting work ethic with relentless, organized follow-up.
Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous seed-stage environment
Genuine curiosity about how growing brands make expansion decisions.
Nice-to-haves
0–2 years in a sales, BDR/SDR, or customer-facing role (B2B SaaS a plus)
Exposure to structured sales methodologies (Sandler, Challenger, MEDDIC).
Hands-on with HubSpot or similar CRM, and modern prospecting tools (Apollo, etc.).
Practical use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, personalization, and productivity.
Interest in retail, restaurants, franchising, real estate, or data/analytics.
Track record of quota attainment or measurable impact in a prior role.
GrowthFactor is the AI analyst for commercial real estate. It does the analysis. You make the call.
Ask where to open next, whether a site is worth pursuing, or what a new store does to the ones you already have. Then watch GrowthFactor pull the data, run the analysis, and explain the answer in maps and tables you can check.
Nothing arrives as a verdict you have to take on faith. Every score opens into five lenses, every input traces back to its source, and every weight is yours to change. Forecasts come as a range, not a single brave number. A named data scientist builds your model alongside your team, so your people can explain how it works long after the call ends.
What our customers are seeing:
→ Books-A-Million, the #2 book retailer in the US, opened 19 new stores last year against 6 the year before, with the same headcount. Those new stores sell 14.1% more per square foot.
→ Cavender's tripled its opening pace, 9 new stores to 27, with every new location performing at or better than expected. They also retired about $200K a year in outside consultant fees.
→ TNT Fireworks opened 153 locations in six months, all on budget.
→ In one retail bankruptcy auction, roughly 700 sites were scored and forecast in 72 hours.
More than 40 brands in active expansion use GrowthFactor, including 16 Handles, and most run it alongside the tools they already pay for, as a second opinion they can check.
Site decisions worth $1M to $20M each run through the platform. One site you don't open pays for years of this.
