The Back Office Technician performs patient care, laboratory duties, and assists doctors with ocular examinations and procedures. They are responsible for maintaining sterile exam rooms, documenting patient health history, and ensuring accurate patient flow within the clinic.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel between clinics. Experience in the ophthalmic or optometric industry is desirable, along with proficiency in standard office software.
Description
The Back Office Technician is responsible for performing a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The Back Office Technician prepares patients for examination and assists other optical professionals in providing treatment to the eyes.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without accommodation. Requirements
REQUIRED: High School education, GED or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Ability to travel to other clinics as assigned.
Experience in the Ophthalmic or Optometric Industry. Experience as a Back Office Technician.
