Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Curriculum Management
Design, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive archery curriculum for all skill levels, from introductory courses to high-performance training.
Develop and manage a diverse portfolio of programs, clinics, leagues, camps, and special events that meet the needs of varied clientele.
Ensure instructional quality, consistency, and alignment with industry best practices and competitive standards.
Operations & Staff Leadership
Oversee daily academy operations, including scheduling, facility usage, and program execution.
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate academy coaches and staff to maintain a high standard of instruction and professionalism.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on athlete development and customer satisfaction.
Business Development & Relationship Management
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the academy’s reach.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, organizations, schools, clubs, and governing bodies.
Oversee maintenance and development of the department website.
Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to inform strategic decisions.
Marketing & Growth Initiatives
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns targeting key customer segments.
Support promotional efforts through program positioning, content input, and community engagement.
Assist in brand development and positioning of the academy as a leader in archery education and training.
Quality Assurance & Customer Experience
Ensure all programs deliver a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for participants.
Gather and analyze feedback to improve offerings and customer satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, policies, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
·Background in sports program management or recreation leadership
2-4 years proven leadership and staff management experience.
Strong organizational and program development skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly with marketing and business development.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Passion for growing the sport of archery and developing athletes at all levels.
Since 1983, Lancaster Archery Supply has been assisting dealers and archers of all skill levels with technical expertise, advice and knowledge to find the quality gear and coaching they need to succeed in this sport, whether it’s in the backyard, on the tournament stage or in the woods.
We evaluate, select, sell and service the finest archery products for Olympic Recurve, compound target, 3D, Bow hunting, recreational and traditional archery. Our multi-faceted business serves archery dealers and the archery community in a variety of ways.
Through our catalog and website, we offer over 85,000 products to archers and archery dealers all over the world. Our 80,000-square-foot Distribution Center houses the world’s largest selection of archery gear from over 700 manufacturers.
We have full-time Customer Service TechXPerts who answer phone calls, email messages and web chats to provide technical advice to archers and archery dealers in finding the gear they’re looking for, as well as to personally assist dealers and customers in placing their orders.
Our Pro Shop at 2195-A Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA, 17602, is the largest archery-only retail store in the world. We have Archery TechXPerts behind the counter to help archers select the right gear for their needs, and we then will set up and tune that equipment, including providing one-on-one instruction on how to use it properly. We also repair and service equipment brought in by our customers, as well as handle warranty claims.
Our Lancaster Archery Academy, located at the same address, is dedicated to providing beginner, intermediate and expert archers with the guidance they need to get into the sport of archery and/or succeed at the highest levels of competition. We offer group classes and one-on-one coaching, in addition to providing a venue where we host coaching certification classes, archery coaching workshops, public archery tournaments and group games.
