Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring patron safety, enforcing facility rules, and responding to emergencies. They must conduct themselves professionally and provide excellent customer service to facility members.
Some high school education is required, along with American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications to be obtained upon hire. Lifeguards must demonstrate proficiency in lifeguarding skills and maintain a positive attitude.

Date: July 2026
Under the direction of the Head Guards and the Aquatics Superintendent, Lifeguards are responsible for providing professional customer service to members of the facility, enforcing facility rules and regulations, ensuring patron safety, and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are expected to be proficient in American Red Cross lifeguarding skills, to conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism, and treat the public and co-workers with fairness, equality, and respect.
