The Unit Secretary manages non-clinical aspects of patient care by coordinating communication and clerical tasks. They ensure the essential administrative functioning of the Med Surg Care Unit 5N.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with specialized Unit Secretary training and one year of relevant experience preferred. Experience in clerical work or customer service is also desired.

Scope of work
The Unit Secretary coordinates the non-clinical aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Specialized Unit Secretary/Health Unit Coordinator training
1 year of relevant experience Clerical and/or customer service experience Preferred
