The Service Writer is responsible for greeting customers, managing work orders, and coordinating communication between the service department, technicians, and parts department. They also handle warranty paperwork, schedule appointments, and ensure the Service Manager is updated on all operational issues.
Candidates should possess a High School Diploma, with a trade school certificate or college degree preferred. Previous experience in a dealership service shop environment is strongly preferred but not required.
