About the Role:
A Special Services Account Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer support and assistance to clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive overall client experience. You will be required to have excellent communication skills, a strong customer-centric approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform departmental tasks as assigned.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Conducts outbound calls to selected accounts where needed and requested by Senior Account Rep.
Partners with other company staff to ensure successful resolution.
Participates in additional training to improve Industry knowledge.
Ability to analyze a difficult merchant situation and determine a proper route to resolve.
Review merchant pricing and make recommendations for saving.
Manages difficult or emotional customer situations and responds promptly to customer needs and requests.
Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; share expertise with others.
Balances team and individual responsibilities, contributes to building a positive team spirit, and puts success of team above own interests.
Develops relationships with all clients.
Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Merchants and internal partners trust this role as a reliable point of contact who communicates clearly, follows through, and keeps work moving forward.
Complex or sensitive account situations are assessed thoughtfully, with the right actions, recommendations, and escalations made to resolve problems effectively.
Opportunities to improve merchant outcomes, including pricing savings and service enhancements, are identified proactively and translated into practical solutions.
Daily responsibilities, administrative tasks, and follow-up activities are completed accurately and consistently, helping reduce friction, maintain service quality, and support team performance.
Candidate Requirements:
Required
Must be able to work onsite in the office, four days per week.
4 year undergraduate college degree or High School degree with 1-2 years of experience in a related working field.
Experience managing difficult or emotional customer situations and responding promptly.
Experience responding to requests to improve service.
Ability to handle a situation under pressure and find a solution; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Writes and speaks clearly and uses correct grammar. Responds to questions and issues positively.
