Business Function

Group Audit helps the Board and Executive Management meet the strategic and operational objectives of the DBS Group. We conduct independent checks to ensure that the Group’s risk and control processes are adequate and effective. All our team members are highly sought-after professionals who work as trusted advisors to our clients, in all matters related to a company’s internal controls. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the COO of Internal Audit in strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives
• Manage various operational projects and initiatives within Internal Audit, including technology enhancements and process improvements
• Collaborate with audit specialists across the bank to identify opportunities for applying data analytics and developing innovative tools and programs
• Lead the development and implementation of machine learning and AI use cases, data transformation pipelines, and visualizations to turn data into actionable insights for audit purposes
• Partner with data scientists and technology teams to develop robust data science and AI solutions for early risk identification and expanding risk sensing coverage
• Design and develop intuitive visualization tools and comprehensive reporting dashboards for the Audit Committee and Senior Management
• Deliver presentations to internal partners and management on analytical tools, providing training, demonstrations, and ongoing user support
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across Internal Audit teams and with other bank departments and external stakeholders

Job Requirement

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an operational, project management, or COO office function, and a minimum of 3 years in data analytics
• Prior experience in banking operations or internal audit functions is highly desirable
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data transformation pipelines and visualization dashboards for analytics
• Understanding of model development concepts and AI, including Generative AI, is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive outcomes with diverse stakeholders
• Exceptional ability to clearly articulate data deliverables and operational insights in both oral and written formats, suitable for various audiences
• Passion for new technologies and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Independent self-starter with excellent multitasking abilities and a strong problem-solving mindset
