What you’ll do and what success looks like:

Business Partnering & Performance Steering

• Act as a core member of the management team, partnering closely with business, lending, product, and functional leaders to drive revenue growth and profitability
• Lead financial discussions with senior stakeholders to shape business strategy, challenge assumptions, and influence decision-making
• Provide clear forward-looking insights on performance, risks, and opportunities, with actionable recommendations,
• Drive a PnL-focused mindset across the Bank, ensuring business decisions are aligned with financial outcomes

Strategic Planning & Financial Leadership

• Lead the Bank’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
• Translate strategy into clear financial targets and execution plans, and track delivery with the management team
• Support balance sheet optimization and capital allocation decisions through active participation in ALCO and related forums

Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing finance function. Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the Bank and Group, acting as a trusted advisor and challenger
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including enhancing data, reporting, and analytical capabilities
• Improve process efficiency and organizational effectiveness, leveraging automation and technology

Financial Control, Reporting & Governance

• Ensure accurate and timely financial, regulatory, and management reporting in compliance with HKMA and accounting standards
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness
• Lead key regulatory exercises including ICAAP, stress testing, and recovery planning

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent)
• 15+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with significant exposure to business partnering and senior stakeholder engagement
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business decisions
• Strong commercial acumen and PnL mindset
• Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate at executive level
