Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction layout, and subdivision surveys
• Oversee both field and office staff to ensure timely and accurate data collection, processing, and deliverables
• Review and certify survey documents, plans, and legal descriptions in accordance with state regulations
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and project schedules
• Monitor project progress, costs, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and efficiency
• Coordinate with engineers, municipal agencies, clients, and contractors
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey staff
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and applicable laws and regulations
• Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of progressive surveying experience, including project management
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, title research, and land development processes
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, survey data processing software, and GPS/robotic total station equipment
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
