The Project Engineer manages the delivery phase of water infrastructure projects, including valves, hydrants, and pump stations. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet time, cost, safety, and quality targets.
Candidates must hold a degree in civil or mechanical engineering and possess experience in project delivery within the water or wastewater industry. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential for this role.
The Project Engineer delivers projects across capital water infrastructure including valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals, water main replacements and more across the greater Brisbane Area. In addition to managing the Delivery phase of the program’s renewals projects, you will be collaborating with design, scheduling, cost and commissioning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

Attend planning visits and concept reviews to advise on constructability and delivery across time, cost, safety and quality outcomes
Support Scheduling, Cost Controls, Community Engagement, Procurement, Estimating, Quality Assurance and Safety teams in developing delivery plans
Provide technical advice and expertise throughout project delivery phase, promptly addressing any issues and problem-solve to maintain time, cost, quality and safety targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and colleagues

Experience in driving quality outcomes in project delivery
