What this job involves:

As the Operations Manager – Engineering & Operations Solutions at QLD Wynnum Plaza, you will report to the Centre Manager, you will ensure the proper and efficient operation of all physical aspects of the centre, creating a safe and productive environment for occupants and visitors.
 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Actively manage Workplace Health & Safety requirements, ensuring compliance with client and JLL policies
• Implement and maintain property risk management programmes, including annual independent audits
• Proactively manage and maintain building services to a high standard
• Monitor and manage operational expenditure within +/- 2% of approved annual budget
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with Risk Management Policy and Work Safe Procedures
• Facilitate retail tenancy design reviews and manage fitout contractors on-site
• Manage capital expenditure budget and maintain Asset Registers and Lifecycle Plans
• Drive sustainability initiatives to meet annual targets and minimise waste to landfill

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:

• Minimum five years' building services or other transferrable experience

• Sound technical aptitude (trade qualifications highly regarded)

• Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

• Computer literacy and intermediate IT knowledge

• Previous construction, budgeting, and forecasting experience beneficial
