We offer internships in fields ranging from engineering, business, finance, operations, environmental health science, and technology, allowing you to explore a variety of industries such as automotive, home furnishings, bedding, and industrial products.
About The Program: The Doors Internship Program is an immersive experience designed to build your expertise, grow your network, and give you hands-on experience across different functions. You’ll work on real-world tasks and/or projects, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and be part of a company that enhances people’s lives through innovation in comfort-driven design and manufacturing.
The Program Management team plays a critical role in driving successful execution of business initiatives by coordinating cross-functional activities, tracking project milestones, managing risks, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders. This internship reflects our commitment to developing early-career talent and strengthening our employer brand by providing hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and meaningful exposure to program management practices.
About the Role:
As a Program Management Intern, you will support program managers and cross-functional teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of key business initiatives. This role is designed to help build a strong pipeline of future talent by providing practical experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and business operations.
This position is ideal for students who are interested in project management, business operations, and leadership development and want to gain exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
So, what will you be doing as an Intern?
Support Program Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities.
Assist with tracking project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
Help prepare project updates, presentations, meeting agendas, and status reports.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and document key decisions and follow-up actions.
Support the collection, organization, and analysis of program-related data and metrics.
Assist with identifying project risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution and team effectiveness.
Participate in internship engagement and development programs that support talent development and employer branding initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Willingness to learn and collaborate across diverse teams.
Things we consider a plus:

Experience leading projects through coursework, student organizations, internships, or extracurricular activities.
