Responsible for selling merchandise and program booklets at dance industry events while providing customer service to dancers, parents, and directors. Duties include booth setup, inventory tracking, handling sales transactions, and assisting with studio check-ins.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Must be available to work weekends and travel from January through June, often working long shifts of 8-16 hours.

Our brands currently include Beyond the Stars, Groove, Breakout, and Reverb! Collectively, we host over 200 regional dance competitions, 9 national finals and 13 fall dance conventions per season. One Beat a Varsity Achievement Brand is looking to hire a Merchandise team member; Sales associates are responsible for selling merchandise, program booklets, and other items that are available at the merchandise booth for the duration of our events. They will provide the studio directors with their information packets upon arrival. Associates will be responsible for answering general questions from our customers (including dancers, parents and directors) as well as greeting and directing them to where they need to go when they enter the venue. The sales associate will assist their Event Director when studios check in; they will take the lead in this when studios check in later throughout the weekend and a director is not available. Sales associates will be responsible for restocking and folding merchandise prior to the end of an event. At the end of each event, they will complete an inventory sheet. Furthermore, each registered dancer receives a free gift at our regional events; the sales associate will distribute these free gifts. Most importantly, our sales associate is responsible for creating an experience for all in attendance and being a customer service liaison throughout the event.
