Design and develop electric and hybrid propulsion systems for commercial marine vessels, translating control architectures into manufacturable hardware and panel layouts. The role involves hands-on wiring, testing, and debugging of high and low voltage systems, as well as supporting sea trials for system validation.
Requires at least 2 years of experience in electrical or automation engineering with strong proficiency in electrical design software and industrial communication protocols. Candidates must have practical experience building electrical panels and be comfortable working on boats in the field.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working full-time in our Torrance office on the Commercial Systems team reporting to our head of commercial systems and working on designing new electric and hybrid propulsion systems to make port operations cheaper, quieter, and less emissive.
This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters.

The base salary for this role is P2: $140,000 annually.
