The Tool Maker designs, fabricates, and maintains precision tooling, fixtures, and molds for optical component manufacturing. They also troubleshoot production issues and ensure all tools meet strict tolerances through rigorous measurement and maintenance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Tool & Die Maker certification preferred. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in precision machining and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings are required.
