The RN performs pre-surgical nursing assessments and provides patient education prior to admission. They also assist the surgical team by ensuring equipment availability, monitoring supplies, and maintaining patient safety throughout the surgical experience.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with current state licensure and CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Two years of experience in OR, Recovery Room, Intensive Care, or Emergency Room settings is desired.

Position Summary
The RN performs pre-surgical nursing assessments and provides education to the patient prior to admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN assesses and evaluates the care needs of the patient, requests necessary pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics, and communicates the patient's plan of care to the ASC.
