The Clinical Support Specialist manages client communications and needs while overseeing the processing of client records and referrals. They are responsible for data entry, insurance verification, and coordinating information flow within the agency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a medical, mental health, or professional office setting. Applicants must also pass child abuse, criminal, and Medicaid/Medicare exclusion background checks.

Job Description: In this role, the Clinical Support Specialist has the responsibility to work cooperatively with other administrative and clinical staff members to manage client communication and needs, whether on the phone or in person. This position has oversight of all processes involving client records from data entry to release of information to archiving.
Schedule Details: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Reading, PA - This position is on-site and does not offer remote work options.
Program: Crisis Intervention Program
Pay Rate: $17+/hour
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: One year of experience in a medical or mental health care office setting or other professional business office setting including customer service and data entry. Knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus.
Licensure/Certifications: None Required
Clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
