Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards. Throughout the day, the practitioner facilitates processes related to data collection, storage, access, and usage, ensuring these align with governance frameworks. Additionally, the role includes driving data stewardship initiatives that promote comprehensive and effective governance across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and data quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to monitor compliance with data governance policies and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate training and awareness programs to enhance data governance understanding within the organization.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating their professional development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in defining and implementing data standards and policies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in data stewardship and managing data quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with data security principles and regulatory compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
