A Brief Overview
Consistently and safely performs medical nutrition therapy with a focus on pediatric patients and family centered care. Provides nutrition care utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to prevent, delay and manage acute and chronic diseases and promote wellness. Shares on call responsibilities as assigned to meet patient care needs.
Provides specialized outpatient nutrition care for pediatric gastroenterology (GI) and feeding clinic patients across multiple practice locations. Independently assesses, develops, and monitors nutrition care plans for patients with GI disorders, feeding difficulties, and nutrition support needs, while participating in interdisciplinary feeding clinic evaluations and treatment planning as appropriate. Position includes regular weekly travel to satellite clinic sites to ensure consistent nutrition services and patient access across the region.
