The attorney will manage ESOP transactions, including equity sales and related financing, while providing ongoing compliance and advisory support. They will also handle mergers and acquisitions involving stock or assets for ESOP-owned companies.
Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in ESOPs, M&A, and corporate governance. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing in their state of residence, with multi-state licensure considered a plus.
Stevens & Lee is seeking a highly qualified attorney with at least seven years of experience to join its growing national ESOP practice. Ideal candidates will have experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital market transactions.
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
The breadth of this practice within the firm allows us to welcome candidates located anywhere in the country. Locations in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, New England and North Carolina markets are preferred. Multi-state licensure is a plus. Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of residence.
Stevens & Lee offers immediate, hands-on experience, accelerated career opportunities and a collaborative culture. We provide competitive salaries, discretionary bonuses and excellent benefits including an annual contribution of 10% of an employee's gross compensation to Stevens & Lee's defined contribution pension plan (vesting in three years). 401k is also available. We also pay 100% of the employee's health insurance premium and subsidize the premium for other family members.
The base annual pay range for this full-time role is between $185,000 and $225,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
