The Director of Process Excellence leads site-wide operational transformation by integrating Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies. They are responsible for driving enterprise-aligned strategies, managing high-impact CI projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in regulated manufacturing environments, along with deep expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, is required.
The Director, Process Excellence serves as a key member of the Philadelphia Site Leadership Team and is responsible for driving enterprise-aligned process excellence, continuous improvement, and operational transformation across the site. This role integrates continuous improvement (CI), Lean/Six Sigma deployment, business process excellence, and change management into a cohesive operating system that enables scalable growth, consistent execution, and superior customer experience. The Director ensures enterprise strategies (e.g., The Catalent Way, CSS strategic pillars, and global Process Excellence initiatives) are translated into site-level execution through structured deployment systems (e.g., Hoshin Kanri), and establishes a closed-loop management system connecting strategy, performance, and daily operations. Additionally, the role drives site-wide transformation efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced problem-solving methodologies, building a sustainable culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
