The coordinator manages programmatic workflows and serves as a liaison between the OU Health telestroke network and partner hospitals. They are responsible for stroke education outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellence in patient care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required within 90 days. A minimum of two years of acute care RN experience or one year of acute emergency services experience is required.

Our purpose is to provide comprehensive, coordinated systems of care related to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases.
Will be responsible for communicating and coordinating programmatic workflows and opportunities with system, hospital, partner sites, and community stakeholders to provide care for the stroke patient population.
Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting or One (1) year of acute emergency services
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
