The Senior Commercial Underwriter will assess, price, and structure complex commercial property and casualty risks while maintaining compliance with company appetite. They will also collaborate with internal teams and brokers to drive profitable portfolio growth and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Candidates must have 4 or more years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience and be willing to obtain a Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License. A post-secondary education or a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is considered an asset.
