The RN is responsible for systematically assessing patient healthcare needs and determining nursing diagnoses for individuals with end-stage kidney disease. They implement and coordinate evidence-based care interventions and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure professional and compassionate care.
Candidates must hold a current Oklahoma or Multistate RN license and BLS certification. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required, while a BSN or MSN is preferred.
Compensation / Benefits
In our Dialysis Unit, we maintain a fast-paced unit to meet the needs of those in the most acute phases of end stage kidney disease. Our Nurses demonstrate highly advanced skills in patient assessment/ intervention, teamwork, and crisis management. We orient new nurses to our unit by providing an 6-10 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor team complemented by a program of critical care courses and a nurse residency program for new graduates. Norman Regional Health System is a multi-campus system that serves healthcare needs throughout south central Oklahoma. Our acute-care facility on the Porter Avenue Campus is licensed for 219 beds and offers a full range of services.
