Full job description
Under the direction of the Director of Advancement Initiatives, the Advancement Initiatives Specialist provides programmatic, operational and administrative support for key recognition and stewardship initiatives within the OU Foundation. This position is responsible for executing high-impact donor recognition programs, managing related data and processes, and ensuring a seamless experience for major gift officers and donors.
This position works closely with development officers (DVOs), advancement leadership and campus partners to coordinate recognition efforts, maintain program integrity and advance strategic fundraising initiatives aligned with the mission and goals of OU Advancement.
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, advancement services, donor relations or related field required. Education/experience equivalents will be considered. Candidates with fundraising, event management and writing experience will be given strong preference. Knowledge of OU fundraising operations with experience and a deep understanding of strategy development for high-level prospects preferred.
