Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of clerical experience combined with six months of healthcare experience. Must possess working knowledge of medical terminology and a typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
One year clerical experience and six months healthcare experience are required. Prefer medical office, insurance, hospital or computer experience. Keyboard skills accurate 30 wpm. Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills and computer applications.
Education
High School Education or equivalent. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
