The security officer will conduct patrols of transit facilities to ensure a safe environment for passengers and staff. They are responsible for monitoring designated areas, responding to security incidents, and documenting activities through detailed reports.
Candidates must possess a valid Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer registration and be at least 18 years of age. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
