The instructor will deliver technical and military training to DoD personnel, including instruction, testing, and curriculum maintenance. They are responsible for ensuring safety protocols are followed during high-risk training evolutions and shipboard firefighting exercises.
Candidates must be a graduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (NEC 9502) with at least three years of technical experience in Damage Control. A background as a former Senior Surface Ship Damage Controlman and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
