Overview:
Sentara Medical Group is searching for an Interventionalist with experience in managing complex patients with chronic pain to join their innovative outpatient Pain Management team in Norfolk, VA.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing and rapidly growing program backed by strong system-wide support and a large, established referral network. Providers benefit from a highly desirable patient population and the opportunity to work closely with a busy, collaborative neurosurgery team, creating a robust pipeline of referrals and interdisciplinary care. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing providers to practice procedurally and clinically to the full extent of their training while helping shape the future direction of the program. Based at Sentara Fort Norfolk, the practice features multiple large procedure rooms with room for continued expansion, making it an exciting opportunity for providers looking to grow alongside a thriving specialty service.
Position Highlights:
Schedule: 4-day work week; Tuesday – Friday (7a-4p)
Average of 25 patients per day
Procedures include epidurals, set point ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, peripheral nerve blocks, etc.
Collaborative team of 2 Physicians and 1 APP
Shared weekday practice call/cross-coverage between Virginia Beach and Norfolk locations during normal business hours
Leverage advanced AI tools like Dragon Copilot to streamline patient charting—helping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately
