The Medical Scribe reviews ultrasound findings to stage liver fibrosis and steatosis and communicates these results to patients under physician supervision. They are also responsible for accurate documentation of all findings and patient discussions within the Electronic Health Record.
Candidates must be able to accurately observe CAP scoring and fibrosis findings while maintaining professional communication with patients. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality are required.
Description
Medical Scribe – Ultrasound Results is responsible for reviewing ultrasound test findings, staging liver fibrosis and steatosis (including CAP scores), and communicating results to patients under physician supervision. This position plays an important role in ensuring accurate documentation and clear patient understanding of diagnostic outcomes.
This is primarily a clerical and patient-facing role requiring strong reliability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and comfortable discussing medical findings with patients.
