The Assistant Nurse Manager oversees unit functions, patient care, and staff scheduling on a 24-hour basis to ensure safe and effective operations. They also lead quality improvement initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or be enrolled in a program) and possess at least two years of acute care clinical experience. A valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license and AHA BLS certification are required prior to the start date.

The Assistant Nurse Manager participates in the development and implementation of Health First policies and objectives, scheduling and assignment of personnel, and quality improvement activities. The Assistant Nurse Manager at all times serves as clinical and professional role model to staff and contributes to their professional growth and development.
