Serve as the Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer to guide supplier-developed installations and ensure components meet performance and airworthiness requirements. Act as a system architect to define requirements and collaborate with vendors to deliver products on schedule and within cost targets.
Requires a STEM degree and 5-8+ years of experience depending on the level, along with an active US Government Secret clearance. Candidates must have experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems and supplier relationship management.
In this role, you will serve as the Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer (RE) across multiple vendors for supplier-developed installations, guiding source selection and collaborating on system architecture to ensure components meet performance and airworthiness requirements.

This requisition may be filled at a Principal Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer (Level 3) OR Principal Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer (Level 4) level based on the qualifications below.
Principal Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer (Level 3)
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related professional/military experience.
Must have an active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems.
Experience in supplier relationship management, including briefing, coordinating, and/or following up with suppliers.
Principal Crew and Equipment Responsible Engineer (Level 4)

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience with integration of cabinets, pallets, seats, electrical cabinets, etc.
Experience with software tools such as NX and/or CPLM.
Experience writing and reviewing technical documents including SSOWs, SRDs, ICDs, and SDRL reviews.
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions within cost and schedule constraints across engineering lifecycle phases.
