The Staff Systems Engineer will develop system architectures, define key capabilities, and establish performance requirements. They will also perform functional analysis, conduct trade studies, and manage system interfaces to translate customer needs into technical specifications.
Candidates must hold a STEM degree with at least 9 to 14 years of relevant experience depending on the degree level. Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo Magic Draw and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance are required.
As a Staff Systems Engineer the candidate will develop system architectures, and define key capabilities and performance requirements. The individual will define design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications, develop thorough definition of system external interfaces and define system implementation approach and operational concept. The candidate will ensure requirements are met and evaluate performance with customer. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze architectures and develop various DODAF or SysML Viewpoints in support of this effort.
