As a member of our CIM group, working specifically with Federal Credits and Incentives (FCI) you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around two core concepts: your technical and quality expertise and delivering excellent client service
Examples of the candidate’s responsibilities include:
Assist with tax planning and research, as it relates to the Research and Development (R&D) credit, and other federal credits and incentives.
Assist in implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of resources
Assist with drafting opinion letters and writing other technical memoranda
Develop an understanding of client's business
Help drive the success of multiple R&D, or federal credits engagements
Maintain competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications
Basic Qualifications:
90 credit hours completed
Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university
Accounting Major
Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work effectively on a team
Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
