Full job description
Company Description
Domino’s Pizza, which began in 1960 as a single store location in Ypsilanti, MI, has had a lot to celebrate lately: we’re a reshaped, reenergized brand of honesty, transparency and accountability – not to mention, great food! In the rise to becoming a true technology leader, the brand is now consistently one of the top five companies in online transactions and 65% of our sales in the U.S. are taken through digital channels. The brand continues to ‘deliver the dream’ to local business owners, 90% of which started as delivery drivers and pizza makers in our stores. That’s just the tip of the iceberg…or as we might say, one “slice” of the pie! If this sounds like a brand you’d like to be a part of, consider joining our team!
Job Description
This role has overall responsibility to provide leadership, vision, coordination, and functional direction to the Supply Chain Centers by utilizing problem solving and lean methodologies, as well as data analysis to drive out waste and improve productivity. The role supports one of the four North American regions on its journey to reach Continuous Improvement goals.
This role is expected to be very hands-on when traveling to a center and requires strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and remotely influence the other centers within the region. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple initiatives at a high level.
Main Responsibilities
Change leadership for regional supply chain centers
Foster performance improvement within the supply chain centers through a hybrid approach of hands-on support at centers and remote accountability.
Use data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, SAP, Access database systems, and other tools as needed to identify and drive improvement.
Champion data integrity to improve the accuracy of KPI visualization and decision-making.
Coach SCC leadership teams on new processes that support Domino's continuous improvement culture.
Provide support to ensure fundamental processes are in place before launching new initiatives, including productivity improvements and service enhancements.
Develop and facilitate an ongoing cadence that creates a culture of operational excellence.
Development and delivery in key functional areas
Facilitate the strategy deployment process within the Supply Chain Centers to support the overall five-year business plan for Supply Chain Services.
Partner with SCC senior leadership to support strategy deployment within each center.
Champion Domino's problem-solving processes within center leadership to develop, coach, and engage team members.
Implement improvement tools that support the five-year business plan.
Facilitate the development, introduction, and tracking of standard work across all departments within the Supply Chain Centers.
Use of lean tools to improve identified opportunities
Introduce tools and processes that support the five-year transformation and continuous improvement vision and strategy.
Facilitate focused improvement events within the Supply Chain Centers.
Identify and ensure existing activities are interlinked to provide a coherent framework for the five-year plan.
Communication, performance measurement, and systems
Provide mechanisms to track and report measures, communicate results effectively, and recommend improvements where gaps are identified.
Represent Continuous Improvement at SCC regional meetings to support standardization across sites.
Support CI transformation by implementing and sustaining unified processes throughout the Supply Chain Centers through coaching and accountability.
Qualifications
5–7 years of manufacturing, operations, or engineering leadership experience with an organization known for best-in-class operations; food manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong financial acumen, especially around productivity and cost leverage.
Proficiency in data analysis; Power BI and other systems experience helpful.
Demonstrated ability to quickly assess situations and make clear recommendations for improvement, supported by strong project management skills.
Strong problem-solving capability and improvement methodology experience, with a proven ability to implement change and drive results.
