The Optometrist is responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing visual impairments, and prescribing corrective lenses or medications. They also provide patient counseling, manage chronic eye conditions, and coordinate care with other medical practitioners.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school and have successfully completed the National Board examination. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients are required.

JOB TITLE: Managing Optometrist
FLSA STATUS: Hourly; Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: CEO
Provide stellar patient care through proper diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. Examine eyes and visual system, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment. Prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions.
